I have read this book seventeen times (no exageration) it is fresh and new every time I read it. The stories in it about famous Christians, the explanations of fulfilled Bible Prophecy, and its insights on life itself are tremendous. It is a must read. And so worth a careful reading too. Everyone should own this book!
I am reading this book right now. Presently I am reading about the French Reformation. This was predicted by Jesus and this book tells how it was fulfilled. We are now in the very closing scenes of earth’s history. If you want to know what is coming and how to be ready, then you will be reading this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading it again later this year.
A friend gave me this book to read many years ago. I read it and fell in love with the history of the church, for that is what this book is about. Our future is addressed as well, bringing hope that Christ alone is our salvation. I urge all Christians and non-Christians alike to read this book and find peace in knowing truth!
The Great Controversy has got to be one of the best books on the history of the world written. This book and Patriarchs and Prophets will give you a very good knowledge of religious history as well as a clear picture of God and who He is and how we fit into the scheme of things.
I love history and with this author you can check most of the events with actual historical writers. The prophecy is relevant and applicable for our times.
This is such a fascinating and inspiring book — a combination of Christian history and prophecy.
